Based on 417 reviewsSuukee Restaurant is recognized for its authentic Hainanese-style chicken rice, offering tender and flavorful chicken paired with well-seasoned rice balls. Customers appreciate the casual and comfortable atmosphere, suitable for family gatherings. The menu is noted for its economical pricing and generally healthy options, though portion sizes may feel modest to those with larger appetites. While vegetable selections are somewhat limited, the quality and freshness of the sides receive positive mentions. The attentive and prompt service enhances the overall dining experience. Conveniently located near Ayer Keroh, the restaurant benefits from air-conditioned comfort, making it a popular local choice, although feedback suggests some variation in meat tenderness, particularly with certain cuts.
Good food here but thought the serving for the chicken wasn't too much and I was kinda surprised by that. Overall not bad though! Liked the chicken
A good chicken rice shop with very economical pricing. Wanted to check out the place and food. The food appeared healthy, esp the steamed chicken rice. Portions were fine with me, but a heavy eater might find it small sized. Vege options are very limited. The breakfast menu might have some items for vegetarians. I liked the service. They were attentive to their customers and prompt. The place is clean, and tables were placed adequately. The seats were basically stools. The only thing to improve is ventilation. The place had the smell of the kitchen, which can be taken care of by adding a good exhaust in the kitchen. Payment is via QR or cash. Parking might be tricky during peak lunch hours but no impossible to find.
Overall experience: Suu Kee Chicken Rice offers a typical local dining experience, serving up classic Hainanese-style chicken rice in a casual setting. The place is simple but comfortable, and good for family or group meals. Food: The chicken was tender and juicy, and the rice balls were flavorful with a nice chewy texture. The sides like bean sprouts and greens were fresh and nicely seasoned. However, the braised tofu was a letdown—it had a strong burnt and bitter taste, which made it unpleasant to eat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it. Service: Service was quick and efficient. Staff were polite and food was served promptly after ordering. Cost: Prices are reasonable for the portion and variety. It’s a good option for casual dining, though some items may vary in quality.
The Nasi Ayam Rendang here is absolutely incredible! The chicken is perfectly tender - not dry at all - and the rendang sauce is packed with rich, aromatic flavors. The portion size is generous too, making it an amazing value
Finally get a decent chicken rice ball place in Melaka. Best of this place is the location , not far frm Ayer Keroh toll.. no need to go in the town and have the chicken rice ball. The rice is soft and flavorful, poached chicken is just fine right, but my kids find it the meat is tough ( breast part). The aircond make it a plus , no sweat no Q.. I see only some local come and makan . Not a tourist spot for sure.. For us, better than the another chicken shop just nearby! Keep it up!
This is a restaurant located within the Ayer Keroh Heights area of Melaka. The restaurant has a wide range of food. Nasi Lemak and Chicken Rice are good. The Marinated Bean Curd is surprisingly good too. For dessert, the Ice Cendol is highly recommended. Cleanliness is good. Service is good and fast. Prices are reasonable. Cash and e-wallet payments are accepted. Parkings are roadside parkings. During peak hours, may have some difficulties in finding a parking space.
